11:15 - 11:45 AM / Main Stage

Dr. Marcus Eggenberger, Vice President Product Management Software Factory, Vector

Overview

A foundation for your engineers and a thousand agents, from idea to fleet and back

  • Transform your ecosystem into a unified workplace where teams, tools, processes, and automation operate on a common foundation with shared knowledge models, versioned assets, and consistent workflows.
  • Engineers and thousands of agents will have to collaborate through the same governed processes, gates, and quality controls, ensuring traceability, compliance, and evidence generation as a natural byproduct of daily work.
  • Connecting the entire product lifecycle from idea to fleet and back, by avoiding silos in the organization and removing friction between domains

The Hidden Cost of AI Transformation: Organizational Scale.

03:00 - 03:30 PM / Main Stage

Kenza Ait Si Abbou, AI Strategist, Author | Founder & Managing Director, Scailers

Overview

Many companies are currently optimizing their token budgets while the fax machine is still standing in the hallway. The debate around costs, models, and infrastructure is important, but it often overlooks the weakest link: the organization itself, which is not yet ready to scale. In many companies, teams are already actively experimenting with AI tools, using them in their daily work, and identifying what is missing. What they lack is not another model. They need the right framework: clear governance, trust in their judgment, and leaders who recognize expertise where it already exists. True AI scale emerges when top-down strategy meets bottom-up initiative. In this keynote, Kenza Ait Si Abbou explains why the human factor ultimately determines whether AI can scale across an organization and what technology companies must do to unlock their full potential before deploying the next model.

New Technologies, New Players, New Rules

01:00 - 01:30 PM / Tech Stage 01

Dennis Röhr, Managing Director, Berylls

Overview

Most OEMs are transforming their product structure and tech stack – but not the entire operating model around them. This presentation argues that the real strategic choice is not only which product to build, but also how to redraw the boundaries of in-house value creation and, consequently, how to partner. It presents which paths OEMs are taking regarding the depth and breadth of their core contribution, maps the fundamentally different partnering philosophies, and shows why the wrong combination inevitably breaks the operating model. Expect no universal answers – but a decision framework that separates strategic intent from expensive experimentation.

Qualifying AI Toolchain: An Open Problem

04:30 - 05:00 PM / Tech Stage 01

Adam Konopa, Director Mobility, Intellias

Overview

  • AI now sits in every phase of the V-model. Each agent is a tool in your evidence chain, and such tools must be qualified.
  • Errors compound along it. A generative agent's mistakes propagate, a verification agent's disappear, unchecked by anything downstream.
  • ISO/PAS 8800 covers AI inside the vehicle, not the AI building it. Nobody has a method for the chain yet, us included.

Overview

The Mindset, Collaboration Models and Workflows Behind Control and Speed at Scale: Success depends less on technology and more on adopting a platform-centric mindset that replaces project thinking, organizational silos and document-driven development. The challenge is maintaining control while continuously increasing delivery speed. Leading organizations achieve both speed and control through a platform-centric mindset, new collaboration models and value-stream-oriented workflows, enabled by architecture ownership, transparency, end-to-end traceability, automation and governance-by-design.

Platforms as Sensemaking Devices

12:30 - 01:00 PM / Main Stage

Gregor Hohpe, Platform Strategy Expert & Author | Software Ecosystems and Enterprise Architecture

Overview

Developer platforms promised to defy the IT laws of physics: they would boost innovation through harmonization, speed up development while assuring compliance, and reduce cognitive load without restricting choice. Many teams found out the hard way that building such an in-house platform is far from easy: many of them end up with renaming existing IT services and are thus doomed from the start. And now we seem to start over, as platforms must support target agents in addition to or even instead of human developers. This is a good time to rethink the real purpose of in-house platforms: they mold institutional knowledge into a collection of executable services and APIs. They represent the organization’s point of view on a rapidly moving technology frontier to make sense in a world of increasing chaos. And that makes them more needed than ever.

chAInge - About AI. About Change. About My Children.

04:00 - 04:30 PM / Main Stage

Julian Yogeshwar, AI Consultant | Generative AI and Business Transformation

Overview

AI is no longer a distant future technology. It is already changing how we work, make decisions, learn, and live together. In this personal yet highly practical talk, Julian Yogeshwar connects technological developments with a larger question: what does a world of continuous change mean for all of us – and especially for the next generation?

  • We are already living in an AI world: What AI is changing in practical terms, why the transformation goes far beyond individual tools, and which new perspectives it opens up for businesses, society, and everyday work.
  • The next generation is growing up differently: What it means when children and young people grow up with AI as a natural companion – and why skills, values, and the questions we ask matter more than ever.
  • Recognising opportunities and staying capable of action: How individuals and organisations can turn AI into tangible opportunities without waiting for the next “finished” solution – and how we can learn to navigate continuous change constructively.

The Evolution of Systems Engineering: From Documents to Shared Engineering Context

03:15 - 03:45 PM / Tech Stage 01

Marcelino Varas, Senior Director Product Management Systems Engineering, Vector

Overview

As systems evolved from standalone products to software-defined, continuously changing ecosystems, systems engineering evolved with them. What began as a document-centric discipline progressed to model-based approaches and structured methods such as the V-model, enabling traceability, consistency, and control of growing complexity. Today, however, software-defined systems, continuous delivery, AI-assisted development, and interconnected engineering ecosystems are challenging traditional assumptions. While DevOps has transformed software development into a continuous activity, much of the broader engineering context remains fragmented across tools, disciplines, and organizational boundaries. This presentation explores the evolution of systems engineering through four major stages: document-centric engineering, model-based engineering, the V-model era, and the rise of DevOps. Building on these foundations, it introduces the concept of continuous systems engineering, where requirements, architecture, implementation, verification, and operation are connected through a shared engineering context.

Alexander Merkel, Head of Department Electronics & Virtual Testing Solutions, Bertrandt

Overview

The Journey from Hardware-in-the-Loop to Scalable Software-Defined Testing
For years, we built business cases for virtual testing. Now the pressure to change is building the case for us. The question is no longer whether to virtualize testing – but how fast we can scale it. Technology was never the real challenge. Transformation is – and no one can do it alone.

When the Target Changes but the Application Stays

02:30 - 03:00 PM / Deep Dive Room 3

Mark Harsch, Principal Software Development Engineer Software Platform, Vector

Overview

Scalable, application-centric development in a Rust-based ecosystem
Efficient application development means working within that ecosystem regardless of where the code runs. This session walks through a split application and moves one part of it onto a microcontroller, looking at what has to change along the way and what should not. It also shows how runtime, framework and tooling fit together to make such a move possible.
